Up North and Down East

The photo above shows a long winding road within a lush landscape. It is emblematic of the trip we took to Maine, Nova Scotia, and the Canadian Maritimes. We visited a number of beautiful places on the trip, but because of the nature of the tour the places were separated by substantial distances. The trip took 2200 miles on a bus plus two ferry crossings. So there was a good deal of wear and tear on our rears between the time we left Boston on June 26 and when we returned on July 8. The following pages are some of the sights we saw and things we did.
