After a stop at The Dalles to see a small, but well done, exhibit on the equipment transported by the Corps of Discovery, we took a stroll on an restored Columbia River Historic Highway, then down river past several waterfalls in the Gorge and Beacon Rock, as both Lewis and Clark referred to it in their journals.
