The next morning we boarded Zodiacs for a trip up the Palouse River. The wildlife and sights were fantastic. This was followed by a trip to Palouse Falls. Later, a storm blew up and swept across the land, cooling the area, and leaving as rapidly as it came. An hour later, there were pelicans on the river looking for supper.
