Once the Corp of Discovery got over the Cascades and onto the Snake River, things got a lot easier. There is plenty of wildlife to be spotted in this rugged area. Upon arriving at out easternmost point, we took a boat into Hells Canyon. There were strong rapids and sites that showed ancient petroglyphs.
