The garden this year was late. Really late. Cold weather that lasted until the second week in April, a time when the garden usually drifts into its summer torpor. Some of the native azaleas were opening at the same time as the common azaleas. (These pictures are intended to show the most color, so not all were taken on the same day.)

    We continue to plant and transplant, thin, and divide to improve the plants and the garden.
