Lioness
Lioness
We saw lots of cats, but it never became commonplace. As in the Galopagos, we are the visitors in their habitat and all we can do (and wish to do) is watch them go about their business as the van drivers jockey to give us a good view.
We watched a lioness emerge from some tall grass and sidle along a wash to a shade tree where she was joined by one of her friends for a noontime nap. In a second instance a lioness leaving the cover of grass wandered up to our vans and crossed the road to look for a gnu for lunch.
