First Day
It was a long trip—21 hours with a layover at Schipol in Amsterdam between two 9-hour flights. We piled into buses in Arusha, poured into our bodies into bed at the lodge, and awakened to sun and lush green. After breakfast, we were briefed, and chose our van. That choice included the driver, Linus, who would provide commentary and jockey our van for the best view of the many sightings we would make in the next ten days.
Starting out
1 Double-click. Double-click and picture below to enlarge it. You can then navigate with the thumbnails above it or the Previous and Next links below the image. You can also Download the picture or go back to the picture array with the Back to Album link. Other pages can also be opened by clicking on the links at the top of the pages.
2. Play Slideshow. The link below will open a full-screen slideshow. Pause/Forward/Back controls appear when the mouse is moved below the image and Thumbnails when the mouse is above the image. Close the window when you are done.
3. Movies. The images with video icons are imbedded movies. They will play on Firefox, but not, ironically, on Safari. The video may not begin to play until about half of it is loaded. If it doesn't start, click the arrow in the progress bar.
